Why I Like Super Eagles Mikel Obi’- Samson Siasia

Former Super Eagles handler and ex-international, Samson Siasia on Thursday stated that there was nothing special in his love for the Super Eagles Captain, Mikel Obi.

Siasia recently said Obi was on par with Real Madrid ace midfielder, Luka Modric and other best midfielder in the world.

“You can’t take it away from him that he is one of the greatest exports of Nigerian football.

“You can also see his contributions to the national team, so, who will not like such a player. He is a fantastic lad and always playing at the top.

“If you have such a player in your team, then, you can have the compliments of others, to me he is a great export and an ambassador,’’ he said.

Transfer News! Real Madrid Ready To Launch Offer For Man United Star Paul Pogba Following Rift With Jose Mourinho

Transfer News! Real Madrid Ready To Launch Offer For Man United Star Paul Pogba Following Rift With Jose Mourinho

Real Madrid are planning to launch a mega move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

On Thursday, there were reports that Pogba is having regrets over his £89million move from Juventus.

The France midfielder won two trophies last season, but has seen the Red Devils fail to stay in contention to win the Premier League for a second straight season, with rivals Manchester City coasting toward the title this term.

Pogba has also fallen out with manager Jose Mourinho over his best position in the team.

The Sun however claims United would be unwilling to sell him after just two years and with three years left on his five-year contract.

Real would have to offer in excess of £120m to even stand a chance of landing the 24-year-old.

Football Lovers:- What Is Wrong With Cristiano Ronaldo CR7 This Season?

Football Lovers:- What Is Wrong With Cristiano Ronaldo CR7 This Season?

It’s the same story since the last 3–4 seasons. He starts off slow, everyone says he is finished, he comes back and scores 50 goals that season.

But this time I really think age has caught up with the superstar.

How much Ronaldo is involved in the play depends on the tactics used by Real.

In a counter attack gameplan, all you’d see is Cristiano ronaldo running the show in attack, but in possession style play, which Real has been playing this season he is just a goalscorer,

so his performance depends upon the service he recieves, which sadly has been absolutely ridiculous this season.

Marcelo is out of form, Benzema is too, Isco although playing wonderful, doesn’t pass to Ronaldo that much (I don’t know if it’s true, but I have noticed it many times).

Asensio is being played out of his position, Vasquez has been awful. The defence has been awful too.

What I mean is, Ronaldo is now a goal scorer, sure he is still an excellent crosser, he is a goal scorer, if he doesn’t recieve good service, he doesn’t score, period.

Ronaldo can still play good on the wing, he still has the pace, the skill and the crossing abilities.

I think he should adopt his old style again, starting on the wing and drifting inside, playing as a center forward has been bad for him, which he is forced to play as Bale is constantly injured.

If the old BBC is back I reckon Ronaldo will be back in form again, playing as a CF is the main reason of his decline, plus his age, he is almost 33 now, what do you expect?.

I still believe he’ll make a comeback, but don’t expect him to score 50 this season.

Champions League is another issue altogether, teams don’t park the bus in Champions league, so Ronaldo gets better service and therefore is the top scorer.

So I’d like to summarise everything.

Ronaldo is old. The whole team is playing bad. He is being played out of position.

The current tactics don’t suit him. But seeing that he is the top scorer of Champions League right now, I still expect good things from him.

Or as a good football critic that you are;

What Do You Think Is Wrong With CR7?

FIFA Best Goalkeeper Of 2017 Buffon Gives Condition For Retiring From Football Next Year

Juventus goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, has said he will retire next year after the World Cup, except the Serie A side wins the Champions League.

Speaking with Sky Italia, the 39-year-old promised to call it a day after Italy’s World Cup campaign, unless he and Juve can win the Champions League after three unsuccessful finals.

“There’s no margin (to change mind) because I’m quite convinced of the choices I’ve made,” Buffon said.

“This is my last season and I’m pretty sure of the choices I make. One or two more years wouldn’t add or take away from what I’ve already achieved.

“The only way would be to win the Champions League. At that point, to try to win the Club World Cup, maybe Wojciech Szczesny could play alternate games.

“But I think with a goalkeeper like him behind it is normal that next year I’ll stand aside.”
